Youth Regional Festival in Wellingbourgh

 

We run three groups in Wymondham, at the North Wymondham Community Centre age 6 - 18

We actively look to let the child question the world we live in.

We have performed at theatres and outside venues throughout Norfolk, at Latitude Festival,

Nottingham Youth Festival,  East Anglia Youth Festival & part of the National Theatre Connections Festival.

Payment is listed below, we do not ask you for proof of low incomes

for the concession/scholarship or fully funded spaces. 

Mini's (under 8's) £65 Standard / £60 - scholarship/siblings / £0 fully funded

10 weeks - 1 hour 11am - 11am 

We have a lot of fun.

Make up stories

Learn to be part of a team and take care of each other. 

Young Performers £85 Standard / £75 concessions/siblings / £60 scholarship / £0 fully funded

(8 - 12/13 year old) 11am - 12.30pm 

We play lots of games and have fun, and we look at:

Stage presence and script work.

Characterisation.

Stage productions of devised pieces & from script.

Projection and diction.

Youth Group   £85 Standard / £75 concessions/siblings / £60 scholarship / £0 fully funded

(Age 13 - 17) 12.30 pm - 2pm 

We tour, take part in local, regional and national

festivals.

Work on scripts and devise our own works.

Develop our acting and stage techniques. 

We ask our members to:

  • Come with a friendly attitude.

  • Be positive and work hard, or play hard for the Mini's!

  • Have a friendly and positive attitude.

  • Listen and be able to take direction.

  • Commit to the overall performance and not just to their own role.

  • Treat everyone equally and with respect.

 

We believe that storytelling, imagination and creativity are essential aspects of us all; we strive to create a space where we can develop these aspects in a friendly and supportive manner.

Fun and laughter and hard work will be a part of all our classes, members should be leaving our class full of energy and excitement at what they have taken part in.

Cancelation Policy:

Full refund up to 21 days in advance of any workshop or class starting date

50% refund up to 14 days in advance of any workshop or class starting date.

Refunds after this point are discretional depending on if your ticket can be resold.   

No refunds can be offered once term has begun or within 3 days of a workshop's staring point.

Cancellations must happen via email to info@slowtheatrecompany.co.uk

For booked shows/workshops, up to three months before the booking or event, Slow will offer a 50% refund. No refund can be offered for cancellation within the three months prior to the booking or event. If Slow has to cancel the booking or event at any time, then a full refund will be offered.
